A New Ramp for Ty

The stairs on our back deck are very tall and poor Tyson can't do stairs anymore, so today my assistant and I headed to Home Depot and got supplies to build him a ramp.
Here is the man of the hour trying out his new ramp. He did pretty well on it but I think we need to add a few little strips to help him grip better. See all his little shaved spots from the MRI? Poor little man.
And Hadley is never far from the action.

Happy Fat Tuesday!

Yesterday was Fat Tuesday and we celebrated the only way we know how... At Ben's Madri Gras Mambo! The kids had a blast playing in TONS of beads...

And even got to decorate their own masks! How cute are they??

A Big Boy in the Sink

This is how poor Brady has to have his bath with a broken leg. He is not a huge fan of the hair washing process but a boy has to get clean!

How embarassing!
A broken leg and a bum leg won't keep Brady and Ty from playing a little Twister!
I believe this was "head on yellow"
A little unconventional but a lot of fun!

Where Have We Been?

This was the beginning of our hiking adventure...

It all a started out great, hiking, throwing rocks in the water, having snacks and everything.

And it all went down hill. Brady walked right into a tiny tree limb that poked him right in the eye. After talking to the dr.'s office, Brady recovered enough to jump on the trampoline with Daddy. No clue how it happened but Brady fell down and broke his leg. We headed to the Dr and she thought it was just a sprain. The next day Brady would not put any weight on it at all. So (after taking Ty back to the vet) we headed to the orthopedic Dr to see what was going on.
Brady did great for the x-rays... he laid perfectly still and exactly what the nurse asked him to.
But his leg was broken. And he did not want a cast. He cried and cried but he still ended up with a big blue cast!
All worn out after our big ordeal!
But we still had a dinner date to attend... and Brady had a great time with his friends. His friend Ben said "Brady fell down and broke his crown!" So funny!
Next comes poor Ty... his leg issues have been on going for several months now. We have seen over 5 vets at 3 clinics in 2 cities... and we still don't really know what to do with the poor guy- but he still has that big goofy smile on his face.

Brady and I are waiting for Ty at the Texas A&M animal hospital. Ty got to see both orthopedic and neurological specialists. As of right now, they think he may have a tumor on one of his nerves. Poor guy!
Watching Cars 2 in the car... it was a long day!
