Happy Halloween!

This was Brady's first Halloween. He was a dino- a very cute dino if I do say so

We didn't really do much trick-or-treating. We did go to the neighbor's house because they just love Brady. He helped me hand out candy for a little while.

He attacked the candy bowl and tried his best to get a wrapper or two open. He knows where the good stuff is!!

And of course he had to wear his skeleton pjs to bed!

This was Andy and Uncle Dan's rocking chair when they were kiddos. Brady loves rocking in it and figuring out how to climb in and out of it.

Earlier today: Brady is becoming very "helpful" in the kitchen. We may be baby-proofing more cabinets in the near future.

Brady and I went to visit our friends Stephanie, Chris and Landon in SA on Thursday. Landon is a dino for Halloween too!

TX vs OU Weekend

Last weekend we went to Dallas for the TX/OU game. Brady got to stay with Aunt Emmy, Grandma and Elle while we went to the Fair and game.

We celebrated Elle's 3rd birthday on Saturday night. We had Rudy's BBQ and an ice cream cake.

Lara, Steve and Tallan even came for the festivities! Tallan was such a good sport with the party hats. Elle insisted everyone wear one.

Brady was in love with a little duck on a stick that mom gave Elle. He thought it was so funny!

Brady has also been working on his basketball skills!

More from MN

Sorry for the delay in posting! My computer died last week but fortunately I had most things backed up on my external hard drive- so it could have been a lot worse. I have been learning how to use Andy's mac and I actually like it a lot.

Here are a few more pictures from our trip to MN for Mat and Michelle's wedding.

Como Zoo

On Friday morning most of the guys went golfing and the rest of us headed to Como Zoo for a few hours. It is a great zoo- especially for the little ones because it is not too big. We were able to see everything in about 2 hours.

The monkeys were in a great mood that morning- very active and playful.

This gorilla was HUGE- he was mooning us thru the glass for a while before he sat down and ignored us altogether.

The seal and Brady were having a great time playing and looking at each other.

Who wants to ride in a stroller when Grammy will hold you?

The sea lions were playing and splashing and putting on a great show for the kiddos. Brady loved watching them in the water.

Here is the fam in the zebra house.

There were two huge lions enjoying a lazy morning.

Brady loved watching his second cousin Ingrid. He gets a kick out of the big kids!

The leopard was having breakfast when we stopped by...

Ingrid's favorite animal was the Dall Sheep.

We got to watch the gorillas eat a snack on our way out of the zoo.

Brady rode the tortoise statue too! Apparently there used to be huge live tortoises that roamed the zoo when Daddy was a kid.
Here are Ingrid and Elsa in the Zoo Boo sign! Someone has a picture of Brady and I in the sign so I will post it when I find it.

Brady was mesmerized by the "Coin Vortex" he loved watching the penny go round and round. He must have made himself dizzy watching it and following it with his head!

All that cold fresh air can really wipe a guy out!
