The Cousins Came to Town

This weekend, Em, Elle, Luke, Tate and Gramma Dar came to visit us. The kids had a great time playing together- most of the time! The 4 wheeler and trampoline were big hits!

Elle and Brady took turns driving the 4 wheeler... Luke just got to ride but he should be able to reach the pedals soon!

Luke's "Cheese" face
Elle was teaching Brady some of her gymnastics moves... not sure how much he picked up.

Cousins!
Happy baby!
Brady loves Tate. Always trying to give him toys and talk to him. Whenever Tate was sleeping, Brady would try to sneak upstairs to "check on him."

They came to town so that Em could run the half marathon... I thought she was crazy but she did it!

Three Little Monkeys

Last week we headed back to the gym... Look how happy these little monkeys are!

Putting on a "Show"

Brady has been performing shows lately. It started a few weeks ago but I was told "No pictures for the show, Mama." A few days ago, the rules were relaxed for one of his shows.

His "show" was him throwing the slinky up in the air repeatedly. Even Grammy and Gramps got a chance to see the show.

After the show wrapped up, we had an ice cream cake to celebrate Daddy's birthday with Grammy and Gramps.

Helping Daddy

When Daddy is home for breakfast, he always makes coffee and Brady loves to help.

Running of The Dogs

Brady loves to play chase and "go run around" and I can only keep up with him for so long... Brady discovered that if he takes the dogs ball and runs around the yard, they will chase him. Brady's happy, I am happy and so are the pups (most of the time anyways).

Winter Harvest

This summer was my first attempt at gardening... and it went okay. The parsley, oregano, rosemary, chives and basil all did beautifully. My 3 tomato plants on the other hand didn't produce much. In December I covered my little garden with a sheet and added some Christmas lights to the inside for warmth and pretty much forgot about it. Yesterday I opened the sheet and look what i found...

Happy 3-0 Daddy-O!!

Yesterday was Andy's 30th birthday. Brady and I baked him a birthday cake complete with Kit Kat and M&M's (Brady's favorite).
Although I think the cake looked cute, it was way too sweet for my liking.
It took 2 boys a lot of huffing and puffing to blow all those candles out!

Andy and I went out to dinner while Brady played with a friend and bought his own dinner with his "credit card" (Chick-fil-a gift card).
A little low key for a 30th birthday if you ask me... but no one did.
Happy Birthday Andy!

Krispy Kreme Donuts

Let me just start by saying that I love our playgroup. I never would have thought to call Krispy Kreme and ask for a tour... but it was great! They had balloons and coloring sheets set up for us when we got there.
Once all the kiddos arrived (and we had our Krispy Kreme hats on) Miss Lisa lead us on a tour and showed us all the steps are needed to turn ingredients into donuts.

Holdin' hands with Harlow.
After our tour, each kid got to dip a donut in chocolate and then in sprinkles and ENJOY!
Brady's masterpiece.

Brady loves Brooklyn- always waving to her, talking to her, giving her toys, etc. So sweet.
That is one happy little boy...
Not a bad way to start a Wednesday!

The Dino Park

This morning we headed to the Dinosaur Park that is down the road a little ways. I wasn't real sure what to expect but it was really cool. They had a scavenger hunt set up with different fun facts about dinosaurs and there were replicas set up in the woods. They boys had fun running down the trails and looking for "foot prints."

Dinosaur poop- of course the boys thought that was SO cool!

Brady insisted on carrying the clipboard the entire time...
And he would have to sit down from time to time to "read" it.

"This way guys!"

WOW!
The nest robber...

Those boys are just too cute.

Check out those claws... crazy!
A T-Rex nest
Can you see that little guy?
