A New Goal for the New Year...
Today at the mall, Brady saw these Thomas the Train rain boots that he just had to have. I am not a fan of character foot ware nor do I make it a habit to pay more than $20 for shoes for B. That said, Brady just had to have those boots. So we made a deal... I bought the boots but he has to stop sucking his thumb for a month before he can have them. He is off to a great start!

Merry Christmas!
We had a wonderful Christmas. It was just us three on Christmas morning. So fun to see Brady go downstairs and look under the tree. Santa brought him a new tractor, Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders.
The Jenson's came over around noon to celebrate with us. Here is Brady's pile of presents from Grammy and Gramps (he is chewing a cracker).
Brady and Daddy had races to see who could open presents the fastest... silly boys!
Grammy and Gramps got Brady a trampoline... he loves it but is pretty bossy about who can be on it and how high they can jump, etc.
We started a new tradition this year too... we made Baby Jesus a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to him.

Poor Ty Baby
Poor Tyson has a hurt leg... we have no idea how it happened but one day he started limping. It didn't get any better so he went to the vet and got on some medicine. When that didn't help, we took him to a different vet so a second opinion... now he is on a different medicine (2 actually) and order of strict rest. He is now confined to his crate unless he is eating or outside going potty. Poor little guy!
When he was out of his crate, look to took over and locked themselves in.
Funny that Hadley wants to be in there. Silly dog!

A Hiking We Will Go...
Yesterday we went on a hike with playgroup. This is something we have done in the past but never really made it that far... this time was different. It was 42 degrees out and overcast but the kids (all 5 of them) hiked 2 miles. We had to cross a little stream about 4 times and climb up and down hills. I was totally impressed!!
Back to Sea World!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Not really but we celebrated a little early with the Volker crew (except Grandpa Rollie). It was crazy and loud and a lot of fun!!
We took Brady's new 4 wheeler.. and everyone had a turn expect Tate- maybe next year.
And of course Uncle Brad's 4 wheeler is a big hit.
I guess these are a little different than Max!
Uncle Brad was eating pizza... with an audience.
Cute little Tate!
Look at all those cousins... how cute!
Braylon must be working on some new teeth.... yummy puzzle!
