Disney On Ice

Friday night was Disney on Ice.  Brady dressed in his finest Light McQueen gear and we headed out for a night of freezing cold fun.

 Cars were out first and Brady was so impressed.  I think he wanted the entire show to be Cars but he enjoyed the Little Mermaid, Tinker Bell and Toy Story too!

Baby A

Brady and I babysat Baby A on Friday while her mama worked.  She LOVES Brady- she would cry if he left the room.  Brady played really well with her and showed her every toy we own.  She was not allowed to play with his trucks though- look out Kenzie!

Mother's Day

After homemade waffles for breakfast, we headed to see Grammy and Gramps for Mother's Day- Uncle Dan and Mack came up too.

Grammy taught Brady how to play croquet or at least she tried to teach him the rules- not sure that he followed them.

We were taking a boat ride and came across this cute little family.

 Brady kept asking Gramps to let Mack swim so he finally did. 

 Dan, Andy and Brady all joined Mack too!

Chuck-E-Cheese

Brady love Chuck-E-Cheese and is really getting the hang of the games.  

He almost beat me in skee-ball!

First Boat Trip of the Summer!

Gotta love Texas weather... you never know what you're going to get.  And as Brady says,  "the weather man is wrong a lot!"  We have had some beautiful warm, sunny days lately followed by a crazy cold snap that thankfully only lasts a day or two.  Last Wednesday it was sunny and super warm and on Thursday we played our 2nd t-ball game in 42 degree weather with a driving wind and even a little rain.  

Anyways- Sunday was warmish and sunny so we decided to take the boat out.  We cruised around the lake and ate a picnic lunch on the boat before headed back to get a few other things done.  The water is still a little chilly but it won't be long before we can all hop in!

Go Stars!

Last Friday, Luke and Uncle Bob made a little trip to see us and the Texas Stars in the play-offs.  We had a great time playing and eating and watching hockey!  AND the Stars won!

T Ball

Last thursday was Brady's first t ball game.  He is on the Dodgers and Andy is the coach.  It was super cute to see the kids running the wrong way on the bases at first.  They caught on quick and actually played a pretty good "game."  The don't get outs and every kid gets to bat and then we switch.  I think we made it through 3 innings before time ran out.
