Kenzie is 1 Month Old

It's hard to believe that Kenzie Rose has been here for a month already!  She is starting to be a lot more alert and looks around a lot.  She loves to be held and prefers to sleep in someone's arm over her crib.  Kenzie is OK with the bouncy seat but hasn't taken to the swing.  We finally found a paci that she will take for a little while.  She loves to be outside- just like her brother.  Brady is a huge help with her.  He likes to hold her and bouncer her in his lap.  When she cries he says, "It's okay Kenzie, brother is right here."  He also likes to call her Kenzie Rose not just Kenzie.  

Her are her stats:

Weight: 7 lbs 13.5 ounces   13th percentile

Height: 21.5" 64th percentile

Head: 36.75  40th percentile

Kenzie actually lost weight so we are supplementing for a few days and I am working to increase my milk supply.  Hopefully it will all even out soon!
Update:  After 2 days she gained 6 ounces and after 4 more days she is up to 8 lbs 9 ounces!

Kenzie would no cooperate for her monthly chair photo- as soon as I set her down she would cry.  These were the best we could do this month.  Hopefully 2 month photos will go better!

Getting back to normal...

After Kenzie was born, Dar stayed for a week and then Sharon came for a week.  It was great to have their help with everything- cooking, cleaning, kids, driving us around, etc.  Last Friday I was cleared to drive and so now we are figuring out how to operate as a family of 4.  We have had a few stressful times where everyone needs something at once but all things considered, it's going well.

 Brady is a great big brother.  He is always trying to help Kenzie and love on her.

Batter Up!

Tee Ball is in full swing.  We have been very busy with practice and games the last few weeks.  We had 2 games a week for 2 weeks.  It has been so fun to watch all the kids grow and get better every week.

On deck at our first night game- it was kind of cool to have the lights and all but we didn't get home till after 8:30.  All the kids were yawning out on the field!

 Grammy, Gramps and Uncle Dan were over on Saturday night for a late birthday celebration for Chuck.  Grammy picked up an ice cream cake...yum!
