Natalie's Birthday Party

 Yesterday was Natalie's 1st birthday party.  I can't believe it has been a year!  

Usually when we get together the girls are both in Ergos so it was cute to see them "play" together on the floor for a little while.

 Everett kept his distance from these 2 crazy girls most of the time….

 And sweet Emma was trying to teach them things- so cute!

On Friday night we went to the Express game with the Fordham family.  The boys had a blast acting crazy (and watching a tiny bit of the game) and the girls had fun entertaining everyone around us in the stands.  We stayed for fireworks (Kenzie's first time- she did great!) and had a great time but the kids were up until just after 11 pm!

Dallas Zoo!

We went to the zoo in Dallas last Friday.  It was a prefect day to be outside!

Kenzie is 7 Months old!

Easter Sunday was Kenzie Rose's 7 month birthday- 

and to mark the occasion, she sprouted her 2nd tooth!

She is such a doll and a pretty happy girl.  She is doing well with teething so far- she drools a lot but isn't fussing much.  Kenzie loves to eat- and anything you have she wants.  I'm pretty liberal with her food and she eats a lot more "table food" than Brady did at this age.  So far she has liked it all!  Her favorites are hummus, avocado, black beans, smoothies and oatmeal.  She can drink out of a straw really well and sometimes sucks more up than she can swallow.  

Kenzie is mastering sitting up but hasn't made much progress towards crawling yet.

She "talks" a ton and started saying "Dadadadadadadadadada" over and over.  She laughs often- usually at her crazy brother.  Kenzie sleeps from 7 pm- 7 am and is still only awake for 2 hours at a time (unless we have to go to school or baseball, etc).  She naps well, usually for 1.5-2.5 hours at a time.

 I still think they look a LOT alike but I'm having a hard time finding pictures to prove it!

Happy Easter!

For Easter weekend the kids and I went to Dallas for Luke and Tate's baptism.  We had a great weekend… we got to go to the zoo (separate post), play outside in their newly fenced yard, see Luke play soccer (and score 3 goals!) and just hanging out.

The ice cream man showed up at the soccer fields just before Luke's game and Uncle Brad let all the kids pick a treat (Tate was in Em's car so he missed out).

 Kenzie slept through most of Luke's game.

 Luke is #14- that kid has some soccer skills!!

Tate just got a hair cut the day before (only because someone told Em that he looked like a girl) and it looks so cute- I just love it!

Easter Egg Hunt #1

This afternoon we had our 5th (i think ) annual Easter Egg hunt with Bea, Bianca, Laura and Jaime. 

 I love these girls- and their kids!!

The kids hunted eggs, played in the sand box, playscape, trampoline and on the swings.  They had a blast!  We grilled fajitas and enjoyed delicious margaritas- it was a perfect afternoon!

 I wish I had a better picture of Kenzie's adorable Easter onesie that Miss Julie made for her… next time for sure.
