Good Earth Petting Farm

On Thursday Brady and I went to Good Earth Petting Farm with our playgroup.
There were 2 goats, a pig, a donkey, a pony, a kitty and 2 sheep- oh and a little red wagon.

These animals were not shy! They all but pulled your arm off to get the carrot you had. The kids loved it. Can't wait to go back when the weather is nicer.

Mama and Dada go skiing!!

Andy and I finally got a chance to get away for a few days- we hit the slopes in Breckenridge! We ate some wonderful food and drank some great Breckenridge Brewery beers!

We skied the first two days and then traded in our skis for snowboards! Andy picked it up right away and was going down blue blacks by the time the day was over. I took a lesson and found my way down a green by mid afternoon. We had a blast snowboarding and will get a board next time we have the chance!

It was good to get away but so nice to come home and see our little man again!!

Our Trip to Dallas...

Brady and I went to Dallas for Luke's Baby shower (my sister is due March 14th)! We had a great time at the shower.

Elle enjoyed opening all of the presents for her baby brother. We had a hard time finding the cards that went with the presents- she was tearing through them all so fast!
We had S'mores- Elle loved roasting the marshmallows but sometimes they had a piece or two of ash on them! She would go up to every guest and ask them if they wanted a s'more. I think I had three by the time the night was over!

Unfortunately, we brought home a party favor that we didn't want- a stomach bug! Brady was sick the entire ride home from Dallas. It made for a very long drive and longer process of cleaning up the mess when we got home. Thank goodness for the mats that go under carseats- what a lifesaver!! Brady and I both got sick and were down for the count for 4 days. We are finally feeling better today!

We had to stay indoors to get better and our little monkey was always finding new ways to entertain himself- not always mama approved ways either. I think I will have hands full in a few months!!

The first of many...

booboos!! He loves playing at the park and does not think he is "too little" for any of the equipment. Today he took his first tumble at the park, he split his lip and skinned his chin. Poor guy cried for a minute and then was ready to play again. I had to hold him down just to wipe the blood away.

We have really been enjoying our play group- great kids and great moms. Brady plays so well with all the other kiddos. He is even good at sharing his toys and snacks.

Brady stole his graham crackers off the counter and helped himself to a snack. I did the same thing with potato chips when I was his age!!
We have been outside all the time- playing the kids down the street, going for walks or playing in our front yard. Brady loves to play fetch with Hadley and she is great with him. She drops the ball in front of him and backs up so he can throw it for her. She brings it back to him time and time again.

Brady is giving kisses now!! If I make kissing noises he will put his lips on mine (or Daddy's). Sometimes he even puckers. Sooo sweet!!

Playing at the Park!!

Brady and I have been spending a lot of time outside- enjoying the beautiful weather. Brady especially liked climbing on this big rock at Brushy Creek Park!

We joined a play group and have been meeting a lot of other kiddos and moms in the area. They have a great variety of play dates- we are trying out a toddler and mama yoga class tomorrow- could be scary!! Everyone is so nice and Brady has been playing great with all the other kids.

Daddy just had a birthday- very low key just some cupcakes and presents.

Christmas and Beyond...

I have been such a bad blogger! Here are a few pics from our Christmas in Dallas- it snowed!!

Brady loves his baths- he started a new game where he puts his chin in the bubbles. He ends up with a bubble beard and laughs so hard. It is hilarious!

Today Brady got his first professional haircut- he cried and cried!!
