Grammy came to visit us and make sure Brady is getting along okay with his cast. We went to the Austin Children's Museum this morning-it was Brady's first time there and he loved it! There is so much to see and do. Here are some pictures of his adventures.
After the museum we went to visit Daddy at work and enjoy some great bbq. Brady did not understand why Daddy couldn't hold him and why he didn't get to come home with us. We always have fun when Grammy comes to visit!!

Poor Little Man
Poor Brady fell off a playscape at the park last Thursday. He has been favoring his right arm for a few days but has been playing and picking things up and throwing balls. He has been using his arm but we could tell he was not 100%. We went to the dr this morning and she suspected that it was broken and sent us to get x rays. Holding Brady down on the x-ray table while he is screaming and crying was probably the worst thing I have had to do... it took like 20 minutes and they did about 10 different positions. We were happy to get out of there and get a chocolate strawberry shake to cheer us both up. The Dr called a little while later with bad news- Brady's arm is broken in 2 places and needs a cast. At 3:30 this afternoon Brady, Daddy, Micah and I went to see a specialist to get a cast. Getting the cast was WAY easier than the x-rays.
As soon as we left the Dr.'s office Brady was his old self again. Running up and down the hallways laughing and screaming. So far the cast does not seem to be slowing him down at all!

Mama's Little Helper
Brady and I started watching Micah for some friends after her maternity leave ended. Brady has been such a good little helper. He brings Micah toys, fresh diapers and even tries to hold her bottle for her. He has been a little jealous of sharing mama's time and attention but is adjusting wonderfully. Saturdays have turned into Mama and Brady's special day- while Daddy is at work I try to find fun things Brady and I can do together so he gets some extra attention. This morning we went to Home Depot. Brady loves pushing the rolling carts around the store and looking at all the tools and plants. He has to touch just about everything as he walks down the aisle. We were probably in Home Depot for an hour with him walking and waving at everyone. Such a nut!

Happy Birthday America!
Emily, Bob, Elle, Luke and Dar came in town for the 4th of July.
We packed more things into a weekend than anyone knew was possible!
On Saturday night we met friends at Brushy Creek Park to watch the fireworks. The kids all got glow bracelets and necklaces. It was a blast.
We were in a kiddie parade on Sunday morning. Brady and Elle rode in the wagon we decorated and waved to the crowd.
We got to head out on the boat on Sunday afternoon to play and watch the fireworks.
Brady and Elle played together constantly.
Emily's 30th birthday is on Wednesday so we got to celebrate this weekend with her favorite cake!
Brady loves his cousin!!
