A Small Town Rodeo

Having grown up going to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, we have pretty high expectations of what a rodeo should be like.  This past weekend, Gramma Dar came to town and we went to the rodeo at the Cedar Park Center.  While it was a far cry from the Houston Rodeo, we all had a great time.  I was pretty surprised how much of the rodeo Brady actually watched.  He seemed to like it all!

While she was in town, Mom helped Brady and I decide where everything should go in Kenzie's room.  We hung 2 canvases, 2 bow holders, 5 words, a bird and a painting.  She also took a belly pic for me before the rodeo since I haven't done one in a long time.  Thanks Mom!

Happy Father's Day!

I know Father's Day was 10 days ago but I am a little behind on blog posts.  We celebrated with Grammy and Gramps out at the lake.  We had a great time on the boat, swimming and eating yummy fish tacos!
Perhaps the boys need some sunglasses!
Brady and Gramps getting each other and all of us with water guns!

 3 generations of Jenson boys.
Too much sun & swimming for one little man!

I wish I would have taken a picture of Brady's Father's Day card for Grandpa Rollie. He had me write "I love you Grandpa Rollie.  I want to send you a dollar." He signed his name, got a dollar bill out of his wallet and put it all in the envelope!  It was too cute!
Happy Father's Day!

Aunt Christi and her boys

Brady and I took a little road trip to see Christi, Braylon and Wyatt while Brad was in CA for work.  It was a short trip but we had a lot of fun!
Braylon cracks me up with his little pool- as soon as he wants in he says "take clothes off." And that is exactly what he does.
When he needs a little break from swimming, he plays in the backyard naked (and then goes for another dip in his pool).  He kept tell Brady to "take clothes off" but Brady opted for swim trunks. :)

Duke was never far away from the pool!
Brad's 2 new cows... they never really came too close to us.

A Pretty Cool Park

It's a good thing I have adventurous friends or we would just go to the park down the street.  Miss Jaime found a cool park in Round Rock.  It had just about everything you can think of...
A huge sand pit with all sorts of sand toys,

Several crazy spinning and twisty things,

A fake log and cute kids!

And whatever you call this crazy swing.

They also have a little "town" complete with real buildings you can go in (HEB, library, car dealership, hospital), a working stop light, actual street signs and all.  Brady was very impressed.  He rode his scooter around the town for at least 30 minutes- not sure why I didn't get any pictures of that.

Dallas and Huntsville and Home Again

Memorial Day Weekend was a busy one!  We went to Dallas for a wedding and stayed with the Brandon's.  We got to swim in the pool, go to ice skating practice and hang out! Grandpa Rollie was in from CA too (not that I have any pictures to prove it.)
Brady got 2 new water guns from Grammy and the kids had a great time playing with them.  We forgot them in Dallas... Brady was very upset but apparently Luke and Elle couldn't be happier!
Luke's t-ball game was rained out so we went to skating practice instead- Luke is in all black.

 Crazy monkeys!
Brady sure loves Tate!
On Sunday morning, Christi had Wyatt.  We all loaded into our cars and drove to the Woodlands to meet the little guy.  He is super cute and has red hair!  Here he is mid-bath.  Wish I would have take more pictures of him!

School's Out!

Today is Brady's first day of gymnastics camp which made me think that I never posted his pictures from the end of school.  Better late than never! Preschool ended on the 23rd with Spring Sing.
Brady sang some of the songs and did a few of the hand motions- it was super cute.
