Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a quiet Thanksgiving at home- just the 5 of us (Hadley and Tyson included). It was fun but we missed everyone. On Friday we headed to the Lake to see the Jenson gang.
Brady went fishing for the first time... he didn't want to catch any fish but seemed to enjoy it anyways.

Watching Daddy and Gramps play pool...

He enjoyed driving the boat... by himself

and with Gramps!

That night we went to Marble Falls to check out their Christmas light display.

This was Brady's favorite one... a train of course!

At the very end they have a big tunnel of lights- great for running!

Grandpa Rollie Came to Visit

Grandpa Rollie came to visit us for a few days,. While he was here, we did some work on the shed (I will post pictures once I paint it). Brady and Grandpa needed a little rest on the couch (with the heating pad) after all their hard work!
Tyson has been favoring his paw for awhile now so we were hoping Grandpa, aka "The Dog Whisperer" would be able to figure out what is wrong with him. No such luck- even the vet isn't sure what's going on with him.

A Sea World Christmas

We went to Sea World last Monday because it was all decorated for Christmas. It was lots of fun! We rode the Shamu ride...
and the merry-go-round...
and the Shamu ride again...
ate lots of snacks
and watched the great shows! This was the sea lion show- Christmas themed of course.
We also had our picture taken with lots of Sea World Friends.

We sure are glad that Ben and Miss Jaime have season passes too!!

Pioneer Farms

I bought a Groupon for Pioneer Farms- even though I had no idea what it was- so we went to check it out. In short, it is a bunch of old houses, stables, etc that are set up as they would have been back in the 1800's. A good idea but a little beyond a 2 year old. We did have fun running around and exploring tho!

An Early Present

We wanted to get Brady a new ride on toy for his birthday and/or Christmas. I just happened across this Polaris Ranger and had to buy it.

Brady absolutely loves it! He is surprisingly good at steering it and loves to go "SUPER FAST!"

Let's just hope he isn't disappointed come Christmas morning!

Brady's 3rd Birthday Party

We had Brady's birthday party yesterday... a little early but we wanted to do it outside and you never know about the weather in December! We had an "All Star" sports theme. It was a joint birthday party with a friend from play group. Brady got a baseball cake and Noah a soccer ball. It was at the park and we played red light green light, parachute and tails. The kids all had a great time!

These were the favors, cake pops and a sports cup!

Playing Red Light Green Light

Parachute Games!

Chasing Daddy's "tail"

And we finished it all off with a pinata!

My Hadley Girl

Brady has been having a lot of fun with his dogs lately. They have been getting a lot of attention, hugs and kisses... maybe more than they want :)

My sweet Hadley girl is getting old...

Odds and Ends

I have not been a good blogger lately. Here are some pictures that I never got around to posting...

A Halloween Carnival at the YMCA

My friend, Erin, and her family came to Austin for a UT game. Here are the boys playing at the park.

We went back to the zoo to use a groupon before it expired... it was fun but CHILLY- in the 40's.
Check out that hot chocolate mustache.

Waiting to watch the Tigers eat lunch... it was pretty cool!
How many monkeys do you see? :)

Pampering Hadley girl. Lately Brady has been telling me that Hadley is his. He says "My Hadley girl, she is not your Hadley girl Mama! She's my Hadley girl!" Hadley and I disagree!!
