Jenson Christmas

Sharon and Chuck came over to celebrate Christmas with us this afternoon.  It was a cold and rainy afternoon so a prefect time to hang out inside by the fire.
Brady loved opening all his presents ( we are going to have to work on his manner tho- he kept going back to Grammy and asking "What other presents are for me?")
We read Curious George 5 times already- a big hit!
Brady loves his new tractor and all the crazy noises it makes- Macy not so much.
Brady and Gramps always fill Gramps's bird feeders together so Grammy got them a bird feeder to build a decorate- a project for another day!
 A round Mater puzzle!
Thanks for all the cool gifts!

Christmas in Huntsville

We headed to Huntsville for Christmas like year- everyone but Grandpa Rollie was able to make it.  We had a great time playing outside, riding 4 wheeler, playing in the leaves, feeding the cow and just hanging out together.  The kids got along really well (with only a few minor conflicts)!

 A kiss for Tate!
 Boys in the leaves...

Look at those cute cousins.  Braylon... where are you?
Playing on the fire truck...how many kids get unlimited access to a real fire truck?!

 Story time on Christmas Eve
Brady and bunny (bunny goes everywhere with us these days) on Christmas Eve
I think I took 8 pictures and this was the best one of all 5 of them
 Christmas morning- Merry Christmas!

Getting ready for Christmas...

Brady's letter to Santa.  He asked for a scooter with wheels that light up and a light house.  We asked our Elf on the Shelf to deliver it t Santa for us and he did!  Santa even sent a letter back to Brady!
playing Hi-Ho Cherry-O in his truck fort with bunny.
The trail of lights and Zilker Tree

We had a Christmas playdate at our house for the kids to decorate cookies... it was messy but fun!

We went to a community event and got to make Christmas crafts.. and guess who showed up... Santa!!

Brady's doing a word search and making up all his own words :)

Longhorn Caverns

Last Wednesday, Brady turned 4 so we went out to explore! We met Grammy at Longhorn Caverns.  It was really cool and a little creepy!  At some points we were 75 feet below ground.  There were lights that the guide turned on but they were in sections so he would turn them off behind us and you couldn't see anything!  I kept wondering what would happen if there was a power outage.... or if the caves started to collapse... some things are best not to think about! Oh and there is a big gate that locks the caverns- and the tour guide had to unlock it to let us all in and then lock it again behind us- so we were locked it (again a little creepy!)  But it was incredible to see such massive caves and underground formations.

One of the few bats that still live in the caves- the tour guide said that all the people and frequent tours drove them out.

Can you find Andy and Brady?
Getting a closer look at all the crystals on the ceiling
Looks like the ceiling is dripping....

 We made it out!
 Happy Birthday Brady!

Leaves, leaves- everywhere!!

One of the main reasons Andy and I bought our house was because of the trees... we have about 20 on our lot.  Usually that is a great thing but right now we are covered in leaves!

Birthday celebration at chapel

Today, Brady got to celebrate his birthday at school.  He went up on stage at chapel and everyone sang happy birthday to him and he got to pick a prize from the birthday bag!
