36 Weeks- only 3 to go.

I can't believe that our little girl will be here in just 3 weeks (or sooner if she decides to make a surprise entrance into the world)!  Everything is pretty much in order as far as her room and gear is concerned- I'm sure I'm forgetting something but we'll survive.
My belly is pretty big- I wish I had done a better job documenting my pregnancy with Brady (I don't think I was this big with him but maybe I just don't remember.)  The dr said everything is right on track and I am measuring exactly where I should be.  According to the ultrasound measurements, Kenzie is about 6 pounds right now which has her on track to be 7 lbs to 7 lbs 3 ounces when she is born.  Brady was 8 lbs 9 ounces so she will seem much smaller if that's the case!
I haven't had many cravings but in the last 2 weeks or so I have been drinking chocolate milk and OJ like it's going out of style!
The belly at 36 weeks...

Happy Birthday Grammy!

Monday was Grammy's birthday- she and Gramps came over to play and have lunch at Chuy's-yum!
We made her an apple pie for her birthday dessert as a clue to her presents- an apple tree (or two- depending on the variety she wants and if it needs to cross pollenate).  Apparently it is not the best time of year to plant an apple tree so she will have to wait a few months to actually get the tree(s).  We also got her a rain barrel to help water the new tree and the rest of their gardens.
Happy Birthday Grammy!

Chuck-E-Cheese

Gramma Dar gave Brady some Chuck-E-Cheese token a few weeks ago and he has been asking to go ever since. I finally found a day when some buddies could join us for a morning of fun followed by lunch at Mighty Fine.  What more could a kid ask for?
This is his favorite game because he gets the most tickets!

 Eating grapes and being goofy

Splash Pad!

With our last week of summer we tried to hang out with friends as much as possible.
We went to the splash pad to stay cool and get sandy.  We had only been there once before (last summer) and the kids all had a great time.

There was also a big sand pit and a few sand toys to occupy their time.

Maternity Pictures

We did some maternity pictures last week at the park.

And I took a few in the backyard with my 2 girls- 3 if you count the one in the belly!
And one solo- 33 weeks.

Baby Shower for Kenzie

Jaime, Bianca, Bea and Laura hosted am evening pool party baby shower for Kenzie and I last Friday.
It was so nice to spend an evening by the pool with my friends!
Look at all those adorable clothes!
They had all my favorite foods- spinach dip, angel food cake, and chocolate peanut better cookies made by Bianca and Bea (among other things!).
My friend, Kara and I (note to self- that dress in not flattering).
I'm kind of sad that I didn't get more pictures but that just goes to show that I was having too much fun!
Kenzie got diapers, wipes, clothes, toys and even her very first necklace!
Thanks ladies!!

Tate is 2!!!

Where did the time go?  Little Tater tot is not a baby anymore!  Brady and I headed to Dallas to celebrate his birthday with the fam.
We spent pretty much all day Saturday in the pool (I wish we had a pool in our backyard).
The kids all had a blast going down the slide and playing with water guns.

After dinner, Tate opened his new son-cone machine from Brady and I.  The kids seemed to enjoy them but Uncle Bob was less than thrilled to own a sno-cone machine.
Sunday morning was Tate's party at the splash pad.  Em bought little water guns for the kids and Brad and Bob spent most of their time refilling them.
Check out Elle's stance with that gun... look out!

Cousins! (except for Wyatt, of course)
Happy Birthday Tate!!

Last Day of Gymnastics Camp

Brady did gymnastics camp2 days a week in June and July.  He had a little bit of a hard time because "the mommies don't get to stay and play." But adjusted after a few weeks of water works.
On the last day, we went out for Italian Ice at Rita's- yum!

To The Park!

We met some friends at the park and the kids were pretending to go camping.  They worked for at least 30 minutes gathering rocks for their campfire.

4 boys working together to carry a huge rock- and they didn't drop it on their toes!

 Check it out- pretty impressive!

Express

We got to go to another Friday night RR Express game and this time we brought some friends with us. Max lives up the street and Brady loves playing with him.  The boys had a blast eating junk food, watching baseball and staying up super late.  The fire works ended just before a huge storm hit!
