The Fun continues- Lake LBJ part 2

This weekend we went back out to Lake LBJ to visit Grammy and Gramps. We celebrated Grammy's upcoming birthday with cupcakes and presents. Brady loved the cupcakes and even said "Cupcake!" as soon as he saw them- I had no idea he knew how to say that.



The house has a piano that Brady loved to play.
On Saturday we went to the Blanco County Fair parade.




Brady enjoyed watching all the floats, horses and people.

And dogs (or boos as he calls them) wearing hats!

After watching all the other kids collecting candy, Brady decided to join in the fun. He ended up with a good little pile (with Grammy's help).

After Brady went to bed, Andy and I went out on the boat to watch the sunset over the water. It was relaxing and beautiful.


Brady's favorite thing about the lake was probably feeding the ducks. Every morning he would wake up and ask about the quack quacks and the boat.

It was a great weekend!

Lake LBJ and Cooper's BBQ

Grammy and Gramps rented a lake house out on Lake LBJ so we headed up for a visit last weekend. The water was warm and the sun was hot. We cruised around on the lake for a while and then decided to try to throw each other off the tube.





I had no idea that Llano was so close to Sunrise beach but once we were out there we had to go to Cooper's BBQ. It was all of our first time except Andy, the BBQ expert! Everyone gave it 2 thumbs up!

Cookie Monster

Brady and I made cookies the other day. He loved watching all the ingredients being mixed together and getting to lick a beater.

Then he sat in front of the oven for 10 minutes to watch them bake.

It was well worth the wait!!

Brady got his cast off yesterday afternoon. He is a free man again. We were instructed to limit his activities for the next couple days but he should be 100% by the weekend.









Brady been in the sprinkler, water table, hose and pool since yesterday afternoon. Making up for lost time!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game...

Grammy left on Friday afternoon and Gramma came on Friday night and met us at the Round Rock Express game. He enjoyed a hot dog and pretzel and wanted some of Gramma's juice (beer) but she wasn't sharing!



Our friends Whitnie, Steve and Rhett came with us too.
Miss Whitnie has an iphone- so much more fun than mama's blackberry!

On Saturday we visited the fire station with our play group. Brady didn't seem too impressed by the truck but he played with his toy fire truck when we got home.






He is getting along really well with his cast on but we are counting down the days till it comes off!!

We made some juice pops that Brady loves. He goes to the freezer and asks for one every day.
