Kenzie's First Tooth

Little Miss Kenzie got her first tooth today- lower left front to be exact. 6 months and 11 days old!

Kenzie Rose is 6 Months Old!

Another month has flown by- Kenzie is 6 months old!

She is a pretty happy baby and loves her brother tons. She will smile and laugh at all the crazy things he does. Kenzie sleeps from about 7 pm to 7 am and naps about every 2 hours throughout the day. She is a trooper- I often have to wake her up to take Brady to school, pick him up, go to baseball, etc. She still naps pretty well in the Ergo when she has to. Our girl LOVES to eat! If you are eating she thinks she should be eating too- she eyes your food and follows it back and forth to your mouth with her little mouth open. She has had oatmeal, bananas, peaches, pears, mango, peas, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes and even the little baby puffs- and she likes it all!
Kenzie can roll over both ways, lift her head and shoulder way up off the floor and it getting better and better at sitting up. She likes to play with toys, enjoys her exersaucer, Johnny-Jump-Up and tummy time but she really thinks someone should be holding her whenever possible. She studies her hands and feet a lot lately- just slowly turnings them around while staring intently at them.
Kenzie has started crying when other people hold her- hopefully this phase will be short lived. :)

New Swing for Our Girl

We have a baby swing for the playscape so we finally hung it up for Kenzie.

She really liked it as long as you just pushed her a tiny bit.

Happy St Patrick's Day!

I found a recipe for green pancakes in Parents magazine so we had to make them for St. Patty's Day. They have spinach in them but you can't even taste it- they were super yummy!

Baseball is Back!

The Spring season of t-ball started a few weeks ago. Brady is on the Mets- along with a few kids from last season. They had 2 preseason games to determine upper and lower division.

The Mets made it into the upper division and have their first regular season game on Saturday.

We also got this cool new net so Brady can practice batting in the front yard (and golf and soccer)!!

Grammy and Gramps were in town and met us for lunch- then they took Brady to JoAnn's where they bought a birdhouse and paint… some lucky little birdie is about to get a very colorful new home.
