Rye Beach

Brady was showing off his boogie boarding skills at Rye Beach.

(Not sure what that spot is on the middle of my lens but it is driving me nuts!)

Brady and Andy had a blast playing in the super cold surf!

I think this is Edward the train...

Memories...

Probably the best ice cream stand I have ever been to! It was about 10 minutes from Ingrid and Elsa's house in NH and we loved making that short drive for some ice cream!  Look at those happy kids!

An Early Morning Hike

Grammy watched the kiddos so Meg, Erik, Andy and I could go on a morning hike.
Tanner found a snake skin that he barked and pawed at for about 10 minutes.

Check out that view! Erik could tell us all about the mountains we were looking at.

Sunday River Ski Resort and Step Falls

When Andy and Chuck were done golfing, we picked them up and headed to Sunday River Ski Resort.  We rode the Chondola up to the top of the North Peak to eat lunch and enjoy the view.  This picture does nothing for the view from the North Peak- it was amazing!

We hiked back down the mountain- enjoying the views all the way down.

Brady hitched a ride down part of the way
And Meg caught a tiny little frog along the way!
After our hike at Sunday River, we headed to Step Falls for another hike and a swim.  The Falls are beautiful!

That little boy looks cold and tired, doesn't he?

Just as we found a suitable swimming hole, a huge rain storm rolled in and it poured on us.  By the time we hiked back down to the cars, we were soaked.  But the sun came out a short time later and it was a beautiful evening.

A Trip to the Gould Barn

While Andy was golfing at Sunday River, we headed to the Gould Barn to see all the animals. Ingrid found some eggs but one of the chickens pecked her finger so that ended the egg collection.

This picture does not do justice to the size of this rabbit- it was HUGE.  At least 5 times the size of our little Petra bunny!
The sheep were fenced into the horse barn- we weren't sure why but it sure made it easy to get an up-close view of them.

Next Stop- Santa's Village

We went to a fabulous little amusement park called Santa's Village.  The kids (and adults) all had a great time!

A talking Rudolph welcomed us to the park.

The cutest trash cans- just lift the hat and toss your trash.
 Santa's RR crossing

There were 26 elves around the park- each with a different letter.  ALl the kids got a card to punch all the letters out when they found the right elf.
The put the card in the little box and pull down the handle- it punches a hole over that letter.  This luck elf got a kiss from Elsa too!

On the log ride- hoping I don't get wet!!
The 3 cutest ginger bread kids around!

 Feeding Santa's crew...

 Brady and Betty!

 Grammy and Sharyn the elf.

Getting a little grumpy while waiting in line to see Santa.

Telling Santa that he wants a Rocky train (and explaining who Rocky is)

We couldn't leave the park without riding the train!

Brady took this picture of Andy and I.

Brady found all the elves and punches each letter!
Can you see Brady's face?  Looking a little nervous!

A GREAT day at Santa's Village!!
