The first stop was Portland Maine... we went to the beach and enjoyed a picnic and then some fun in the sand and surf.

After the beach, we headed into town to explore and eat dinner.
Dinner at the Portland Lobster Company- water front, yummy food and the kids loved watching the boats come and go!
Yum- lobster dinner complete with steamers, crab cakes and lobster bisque!
This may be one of my favorite pictures from the trip- Elsa chewing on a lobster leg!
After dinner, we headed to Bethel to spend a few days in the mountains.
