On Friday, Jaime, Ben, Brady and I headed to New Braunfels to visit the Snake Farm. Jaime has always said she is afraid of snakes but I had no idea how much she meant that. I think it was very hard for her to go there! The boys liked it alright and I thought it was pretty cool.
This was my favorite snake because it was the most active. The boys would put their finger on the glass and the snake would follow it around. That totally freaked Jaime out!
The Snake Farm had other animals too... alligators and crocodiles, all kinds of birds, monkeys, wolves, hyenas, zebra, pony, longhorns, and the list goes on...
Our next stop was the Railroad Museum... they had all sorts of model trains running and 3 large train cars to climb on- a big black engine, a dining car and a red caboose.
After the railroad museum (and lunch at the Gristmill) we stopped in San Marcos and took a glass bottom boat tour. I have never seen what so clear. These pictures are from the roof of a 3 story building right next to the lake. You can see all the way to the bottom! In some places the lake is 30 feet deep and you can still see the ground. It was pretty cool!
