Lake Tahoe!

Andy and I used to go skiing every January but since Brady was born we have only been once.  Now that Brady is 4 we decided it was time to get him on some skis.  So we headed to Tahoe to meet up with Grandpa Rollie and do some skiing.
Brady hanging out at the airport in Austin waiting on our plane.
Watching Cars 2... doesn't he look so big?
All geared up and ready to hit the slopes!
Riding the gondola up for the first time.
Brady was completely unsure on skis... when Andy or I would ski with him between our legs he was fine because we were doing all the work.

Taking a break to build a snowman!
After lunch, Brady and I built 3 little snowmen before going back up the chairlift.
Look at that smile! (I think he is happy because he is done skiing for the day!)
Dad found a 5 bedroom house that was only a 2 block walk from the gondola.  It was a great house and had tons of room.  Dad's friends, Mr Dale, Miss Pam and Miss Cindy came for a few days too.  Brady liked playing piano with Mr Dale.
Grandpa got Brady these crazy wooden blocks... I believe they are building a spaceship.
Day 2 of skiing, we used "the strap" so we could control Brady's turning and speed while he was in charge of balancing and not falling down.  This thing is a great invention!! Brady wasn't crazy about it but he was learning the proper stance and getting the hang on controlling  his skis.  I wish we would have made him use it the first day too!
On Saturday we took a day off from skiing to go tubing.  Everyone had a blast!  Going down the hill was so fun but the 150 stairs to get back to the top were not so fun (probably wasn't really THAT many but it sure felt like it).
 Andy and Brady
Dad and Miss Cindy- her first time to go tubing!

After tubing, we walked around town and explored.
On Sunday, Andy and I went skiing while Brady and Grandpa Rollie hung out at the house and played.  We finally had good weather on the mountain and got to see the lake.  Check out that view!
It was a wonderful trip!
