Sea World Part 2

On Sunday, we headed back to Sea World for another day of fun.
We started on the pony ride... this time Daddy got to ride too.

Next we went back to the Bay of Play for more climbing and sliding!

This was probably Brady's favorite ride of all. It lifts you up high and then drops you a little bit at a time. He would laugh and laugh when it dropped.

I think he rode it 7 times in a row (not too crowded on a Sunday morning)!

Then it was off to a big boat ride that spins you in circles, also a big hit.

Posing with the pirate...

and a completely fake smile with a pumpkin.

Alligator Alley- lots of gators and turtles.

We headed back to the sea lion show again- just as good the second time around!

"Uncle Max" doing sit ups to burn off some extra weight :)

Posing with the flamingos- just for you Gramma Dar!

Brady was on the edge of his seat watching Azul for the second time- it really is an amazing show!

Daddy requested we go back to the penguins- so we did.

This is a King Penguin- they don't build nests. They hold their eggs on top of their feet to keep them warm. Check out how it is standing on it's heels to keep the egg warm. CRAZY!!

Making our souvenir penny...

We got to see the Shamu show again too!

All day Brady was asking to play on the playground so we finally gave in and let him play for awhile.

Brady and Daddy got to feed and pet the dolphins. So cool!

Our family photo from our little vacation.

This is when we knew it was time to head home, Brady got in the stroller, took off his shoes and socks and laid down.

Sound asleep the entire way home.

It was a great trip!!

Sea World Part 1

This weekend, we headed to Sea World San Antonio for some quality family time. We all had a blast! Brady had more soda and popcorn in those 2 days than he has in his entire life.

This is the first real roller coaster Brady rode. It is called the Shamu Express and Brady loved it. He ran off with a huge smile on his face. Unfortunately, I could not get on the right side of the coaster to get a pic of B.

Brady had a blast on the "pony ride" too. He was all about Daddy. He had to do everything with Brady.

In the Bay of Play, there are huge nets, tunnels and slides.

That is one happy boy way up high!

Next we headed over to watch the sea lion show.

Check out the size of "Uncle Max"-he is HUGE! Brady watched the entire show and really like it.

Brady and Daddy eating peanut butter crackers for lunch while we wait for "Azul" to start.

It was an amazing show and this picture does not do it any justice at all.

A piggy back ride to rest his legs.

Brady was obsessed with the roller coasters- he wanted to ride them all. He just needs to grow another foot or so and they will let him on :)

In the penguin habitat...I don't know who was more impressed, Brady or Daddy.

The One Ocean show with Shamu and the other killer whales... amazing just don't sit in the splash zone!

This is Shamu and Baby Shamu...

Posing in the pumpkins for me :)

This was when we knew we were done for the day

So we headed to BJ's for dinner. Pizza and pizookies, yum!

Kylie came to visit!!

Kylie and her parents came to visit us! We were so excited to see them!
We got out the swing for little Miss Kylie- it was her first time and she loved it.

She is such a happy girl, all smiles with those adorable dimples.
Brady got out a ton of toys for her to play with. I don't think she knew which way to go first.
He loved playing with her. He would show her how all the different toys worked and then give her a turn to play with them.

Silly boy- that's not a hat!
Brady woke up and the first thing he said was "I want to play with my friend, Kylie!" It was hard to get him out of the house to go to school this morning- all he wanted to do was play with Kylie.

Orange Day and National Night Out

Today was orange day at school- in Austin, you may as well call it Longhorn Day!

Brady is finally liking school. We had had 2 tear-free days!

After t-ball practice, we got home to find National Night Out in full swing at Ms. Mary's house. We got there just in time to see the fire truck.

Brady had fun in the fire truck and running around the yard with the other kiddos.

Soccer Practice

We have soccer practice on Monday mornings- the kids are so cute chasing their balls all over the field. They warm up, run drills, practice shooting the ball, doing an obstacle course and play tails. They think it is so funny!!
Here are Brady and Ben "helping" Ms Jaime set up the cones and hoops.

Playing tails...

When soccer is over, we head to the park to play for awhile.

Resting and enjoying a snack.
When we got home, Brady was playing out front and this is how I found him. Looks pretty comfortable!

Back at the Zoo

I have been a lazy blogger lately- sorry! Just because I haven't been posting doesn't mean that we haven't been busy and having fun!

We went to the zoo with play group last week- and had a great time.
The boys are being monkeys while looking at the monkeys!

Brady insisted on bringing his little wagon with him. He pulled it the entire time and didn't complain a bit.

We rode the train for the first time- they were all super excited.

Brady and Harlow were "spinning" in this picture but you can't really tell.
