Ugly Holiday Sweater Party...

We had an ugly holiday sweater party with play group. I am sad to say I did not do a good job at getting pictures of the sweaters... but look who dropped by...

First Visit to the Dentist...

Brady's dental insurance kicked in on his third birthday so we headed to the dentist today. Brady did GREAT! He got an x-ray, teeth counted, cleaned and polished and a fluoride treatment. In exchange for his cooperation he got 2 bouncy balls and a princess sticker (which he said he picked because Elle would like it so the lady gave him one for Elle too!)

Happy Birthday Big Boy!!

Yesterday was Brady's 3rd birthday! Hard to believe he is already 3. We headed to Chuck E Cheese with some friends to play in the morning.




I think his favorite part was pushing Brooklyn around in the stroller!

Then we met Grammy for lunch... and had spaghetti and cupcakes at home for dinner.


Sad to say, Brady did not open a single present on his actual birthday! We had his birthday party a few weeks ago (and I am so glad we did- it has been cold and rainy for the last few days) and celebrated with Grammy and Gramps last weekend. Andy and I got him the 4 wheeler a few weeks ago... no shortage of presents just kinda funny that none landed on his actual birthday!
At school during Chapel, everyone sang happy birthday to him and the other December birthdays and he got to pick a prize from the birthday bag (he got a smiley face water bottle)!!

All Aboard!!

Today we rode the rails with Santa! The North Pole Flyer took us on a 2.5 hour adventure complete with cookies from Mrs. Clause, hot chocolate, Christmas carols, Christmas stories and a visit from Santa himself. It was a great time!

Twister... Toddler Style

Andy taught (or tried to teach) Brady how to play Twister. It is HILARIOUS! His little body can't reach across the mat but he thinks it is pretty funny to try. And even funnier to see Mama and Daddy twist themselves up.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a quiet Thanksgiving at home- just the 5 of us (Hadley and Tyson included). It was fun but we missed everyone. On Friday we headed to the Lake to see the Jenson gang.
Brady went fishing for the first time... he didn't want to catch any fish but seemed to enjoy it anyways.

That night we went to Marble Falls to check out their Christmas light display.

This was Brady's favorite one... a train of course!

At the very end they have a big tunnel of lights- great for running!

Grandpa Rollie Came to Visit

Grandpa Rollie came to visit us for a few days,. While he was here, we did some work on the shed (I will post pictures once I paint it). Brady and Grandpa needed a little rest on the couch (with the heating pad) after all their hard work!
Tyson has been favoring his paw for awhile now so we were hoping Grandpa, aka "The Dog Whisperer" would be able to figure out what is wrong with him. No such luck- even the vet isn't sure what's going on with him.
